A Beautiful Lilac and Brass Tablescape

A Beautiful Lilac and Brass Tablescape

Hey Friends!

I’m so glad that you are here. Isn’t summer the best?! There is just something about a summer afternoon that makes you feel alive, it’s wonderful. Dining outdoors is one of my favorite things to do. Today, I am sharing a Lilac and Brass tablescape with you. I’m so looking forward to our time together.

The wisteria is so beautiful this time of year. It was the inspiration for this tablescape. My talented and oh so fun friend, Barbara from MantleandTable.com, and I went to the local flower market and found the most wonderful Lilacs, and so much more.

Aren’t these flowers amazing?!

Nothing makes a more regal pair than purple and brass-the combination is stunning!

I used my favorite vintage ironstone pitcher for the centerpiece bouquet. I filled it with Lilacs, Ranuculus, Pepper Berry and Italian Ruscus.

I used my gold chargers, you can get them here, and stacked my vintage China dinner plate and salad plate. I tied a deep purple ribbon on a white linen napkin and tucked in a fern frond. I used my vintage silverware.

Dinner parties in the dining pavillion are a wonderful way to spend a summer evening,
Look at that wisteria! It blooms twice each year. It is definitely a favorite.

Barbara and I are two peas in a pod. We love entertaining, doing flower arrangements and making beautiful tablescapes. It’s so fun to see our tablescape through her eyes. You can see her post here.

For a start, the wisteria is simply amazing. So beautiful. The table looks amazing too. I love that you have brought in the colour of the wisteria with the dark purple ribbons - it's such a great pop of colour. Love everything!

Oh, Renae, I realized I also wanted to say that I miss those pink pepper berries we had growing in Southern California. When we were camp hosts at Lake Skinner, we had a few pepper berry trees right near our trailer and those were the first crowns I fashioned for my Girls out in the yard. The second, Stepping Out in Faith shows my French Ethereal logo that I used for a long time. Just thought you might like to see. :)

Hugs again, and enjoy your gorgeous pavillion!!! Barb :)
