A Beautiful and Romantic Tablescape for Two
A Beautiful and Romantic Tablescape for Two
With Valentine’s Day coming soon, and with the Covid restrictions still in place, we will be celebrating at home. I wanted to create a space that would feel cozy and romantic, but not kitchy and valentine-y.

I love anything vintage. The vinatge book, silver urns, and all of the wood is such a timeless look.

I recently made these green velvet drapes in this room, green is my favorite color right now. Green means “life” to me. I also reupholstered these chairs in this lovely old world pattern. The two fabrics work so well together.

For the table setting, I used gold chargers with my gold rimmed china. The silverware was a wedding gift from my husbands grandmother, it is such a treasured gift.

I enjoy using white floral bouquets around the house, they add softness, yet they are not too feminine. I try to keep a balance so that my husband doesn’t feel like he lives in a doll house. Beings that I set this table for Valentine’s Day, I used red cloth napkins. I tucked fresh eucalyptus into the napkin rings.

I hope that you, and all of those that you love, have a wonderful Valentine’s Day.
