Renae’s Journey –
Renae married her high school sweetheart and they began their family young. As their children entered their high school years Renae returned to college to study her passion of interior design. She went on to practice professionally designing residential and commercial projects across the country. Renae also used her skill and passion as an opportunity to give back by donating design work for churches, homes for single mothers, clinics for sexual abuse centers and temporary homes for the homeless.
Inspired by her grandbabies, “Mimi” as Renae is known, has authored six children’s books and a clean eating cookbook.
Returning to their hometown after 20 years of living away, Renae put her passion back to work for her family, transforming a 10-acre property into Peacock Ridge Farm. The centerpiece is the French-inspired farmhouse that was lovingly restored with every attention to detail. The property includes: spaces for entertaining family and friends both inside and out and, The French Country Boutique, a business founded by Renae, with a curated offering of antiques, furniture, gifts and décor for the home and garden. Each season is welcomed with inspired seasonal decorating. The Boutique has truly been a work of the heart.
