What is a cheese danish?
A cheese danish is a cream cheese filling inside of a pastry.
It can be either sweet or savory.
This easy-to-follow recipe works well for first-time bakers, as it uses store-bought puff pastry and just a few basic pantry ingredients.

How to Make Delicious Cranberry Cream Cheese Danish
This recipe just could not be easier.
Step 1: Just unwrap the phyllo dough, it comes folded into thirds.
Unfold the phyllo dough and lay it out onto a piece of parchment paper.
Step 2: Cut the outside thirds on the diagonal and remove the first and last slices from each side-do not cut the sides from the center third.
Step 3: Next, you will mix the cream cheese mixture and spread in the center section of the phyllo dough.
Step 4: Then spread the cranberry jam on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Now, fold in the ends of the middle section of the phyllo dough.
Then, fold in the sides alternating sides-it will kind of look like a mummy.To make it even prettier for the holidays, twist the phyllo dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
While the danish is baking, make the glaze. Mix 1 T. of water with 1/2 c. of powdered sugar.
When the danish is cool, drizzle on the glaze.
