I love this place setting.

I love the casualness of the tartan plaid charger with the elegance of the gold rimmed China.

The Tartan Plaid charger is the base for the setting.

Next is the gold rimmed Dinner plate ( this is a beautiful option.)

Then I added a green cloth napkin.

Then a gold rimmed salad plate. This salad plate is so pretty.

I used my vintage silverware.

My husbands grandma gave these to us for our wedding gift 37 years ago.

They are a treasure.

I used these gorgeous champagne glasses to add a bit of sparkle and elegance to this rustic, yet refined tablescape.

These would make such a lovely Christmas gift.

Next, I used these simply beautiful water goblets.

This centerpiece just makes me smile.

In our home, we have our food platters on the kitchen island, so I use all the space for a festive tablescape.

I started with a plaid table runner.

I used loads of vintage silver candleholders with white taper candles, pheasant feathers and ponegranates.

Beautiful interiors don’t have to come with an outrageous price tag. My style is what I like to call Vintage French Farmhouse, I love mixing decorating styles, especially opposites like the glitz of a chandelier dripping in crystals with a chair upholstered in worn aged leather. Refined, yet not too formal-but, livable, elegant traditional design, adding warmth and vintage elements.
