You know how much I love adding wreaths to everything-why not add one to the mirror with command hooks?

French Country Fall Mantel Decor

If you have been around Peacock Ridge Farm for any amount of time, you know that Fall is my favorite season, I love vintage finds and I love a timeless style.

What better way to combine all of my loves into one project, than decorating for Fall.

This is the mantel in our living room.

When we first saw this house, we fell in love-not with how it looks then-but we fell in love with the possibilities of the house.

This fireplace was a lava rock fireplace that went from floor to ceiling.

I love that we added the trim and mantel and painted it white.

I love how classic this style is.

But, I didn’t stop there.

I added these vintage crystal sconces and replaced the overhead light fixture with a vintage crystal chandelier.

I’m a girl who loves her sparkle.

This makes for a wonderful base for decorating for everyday or for the seasons.

I love using natural items from around the farm-pumpkins, greener and fall leaves-but what if I get so excited to decorate before the outside of the house isn’t ready for fall decorating when I’m ready to decorate?

I have loads of faux pumpkins and greenery that I use.

I love it for several reasons.

It’s there when I neeed it.

I can use it in new ways year after year without having to buy anything new.

And, it doesn’t spoil.

So go ahead and use faux if you want to, it still looks beautiful.
