Friday Favorites- 1.6.23

Hey Friend!

I am so glad that you are here, welcome.  Come on in and let’s spend some time together.  Each Friday, I am going to share a few of my favorite things from the week. Things from my life, from around the web, things that make me smile or catch my interest.  Thank you so much for joining me.

Happy New Year!

I hope that your year is off to a great start.

Before I share all of the awesome things on this blog post, I want to say “thank you.” Thank you for being here, day after day. Thank you for reading my blog and leaving kind comments and encouragement. I have the best job in the world and I wouldn’t be able to share my passions without all of you. I am so very thankful for you. I wish each of you a very Happy New Year!

Now, I will share a bit about my weekend. My husband and I enjoyed a few days at the lake.  The weather was beautiful. It was so nice to take a break after such a busy, yet wonderful month. We watched a bit of television. Have you seen 1883 and 1923? They are the prequils to Yellowstone. They are so good.

I am reading the best book. It has been a while since I have taken the time to just sit and read. This book is so good that I almost read the whole thing in one day. ( I was on an airplane and in and out of airports, so I had loads of time to read.)

  1. Really ??? So many ads!! Your website is so cluttered with advertising it just doesnt make for a pleasant time reading your website therefore I am unsubscribing.

    1. I’m so sorry to see you go. Sadly, the ads are how I get paID TO DO THIS JOB. I JUST CAN’T WORK FOR FREE, AS MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE TO.

Beautiful interiors don’t have to come with an outrageous price tag. My style is what I like to call Vintage French Farmhouse, I love mixing decorating styles, especially opposites like the glitz of a chandelier dripping in crystals with a chair upholstered in worn aged leather. Refined, yet not too formal-but, livable, elegant traditional design, adding warmth and vintage elements.
