This is the “before” pics of my entryway.

I have envied others entryways for years.

I loved that they could decorate them for each holiday ad season.

My entryway is small and it doesn’t have any defined space, it’s basically a walk through space and nothing more.

It has beautiful vintage brick floors and great woodwork.

How Do I Add Vintage Charm and Character to Your Entryway?

When my mom passed away a couple of years ago, my stepdad gave me this gorgeous vintage desk.

I love it, but I didn’t think that I had a place to put it, until I thought about putting it on this wall and defining an entryway space.

I just couldn’t be happier with it here.

I get to see it every time that I pass through.

And that makes me happy.

I added a fresh boxwood wreath, that I let dry.

I love how it fills in the space above the desk.

Then, I shopped my house for fun things to add to this area.

I actually didn’t even buy anything new.

I recovered this vintage bench, you can see the post here.

Next, I added these super cute hooks to the woodwork.

This was the key to really transforming this area, as I could now decorate this wall.

I can hang coats, baskets and decor to the hooks.

This is such a fast and easy project to do.

Then I found this beauty while I was out antiquing.

I love this vintage metal planter, with it’s gorgeous patina.

I added a couple of faux ferns to it.

I really love this.

I had this vintage carpet runner in the barn.

It looks so good in the entryway.

Beings that it is vintage, it just doesn’t matter is mud gets drug in.
