How to Create a Beautiful Buffalo Check Farmhouse Tablescape

Black and white buffalo plaid just makes my heart so happy. I love all of the details in this beautiful farmhouse table setting. The first thing I did was to lay out a buffalo plaid table runner, down the middle of the table. Then I added the place setting layers.

For each table setting, I started with a woven grass placemat. Then I layered it with a delicate white charger (these aren’t identical to mine, but they would look great), a white dinner plate, a buffalo check cloth napkin , a white salad plate , then I topped it off with a beautiful green bird plate. I couldn’t find the same bird plates that I used, but these would look so pretty. I love the depth of these layers. It adds so much interest.

Don’t you just love vintage brass candlesticks? They add so much warmth and character. Here are some brass candlesticks that I found: here, here, here and here.

I adore this floral arrangement. I made it years ago using this vintage pot that I found at a antique store. I added floral foam in the bottom of the pot and then added faux white flowers and greenery. I love that this looks great all year long and I can use it in every room of the house. This cache pot would be great for making an arrangement.

Don’t love the brass candlesticks? Topiaries make a wonderful option to mix up this tablescape and adds elegance and softness.
