I love the simplicity of this table decor.

We live a much simpler life at the lake house.

And I love that.

I bought nothing for this tablescape except for some cinnamon sticks.

How to Style a Cloth Napkin for the Holidays

The napkin decor is my favorite thing about this tablescape.

I used my linen cloth napkins.

I wrapped some twine around the napkin three times, then I tied a bow.

Next, I tucked in some greenery that I clipped from my yard, as well as a cinnamon stick.

I love this look.

The holidays are a time of joy and celebration, but they can also be a lot of work.

If you’re like me, you might be looking for ways to add some holiday charm to your home without spending too much time or money.

One easy way to do that is by using what you have, whether it is inside your house or outside.

I grabbed my vintage basket and some garden nippers and headed out to the woods behind our house.

I found so many wonderful things that were perfect for this simple, yet elegant Cottage Style Tablescape.

I love any excuse to get outside and enjoy nature.

When clipping greenery for your holiday decorating, look for several different types.

The more the merrier.

It will add so much more interest and character.

I used my burlap table runner as the base.

Then I used a large white platter to put the candles and greenery on.

I used a set of flameless candles for the focal point.

These candles are so beautiful, they look real, but without the flame.

These flameless taper candles are my new favorites.
