Today, I am sharing How to Create a Beautiful French Country Spring Tablescape. Come on, I’ll show you.
Last week, I was working on some projects at the lake house.
I thought that it would be the perfect setting for a Spring Tablescape.
One thing that I love about the lake house and lake life, is the simplicity of it.
The rules seem to change on my way over to the lake. Life takes on a less stressful way about it.
I love the very same thing about French Country decor-the simplicity of it.
Finding beauty in the imperfections.
I am sharing a very simple, yet French Country elegant tablescape with you.
I started my tablescape with a simple blue and white chevron patterned table runner.
Then for each place setting, I used a woven seagrass placemat,
Then I used the cutest set of melamine dinnerware.
I know, I have never used melamine dishware in a tablescape before.
But, I got to thinking about all of the meals that we will be eating outside this summer and I definitely don’t want to use breakable dishes and glassware outside.
When I found this set of melamine dishes-I was awestruck.
Aren’t they so pretty?
I added some classic bamboo silverware to each side of the place setting.
These wine goblets are so pretty. I absolutely love them. They add such a refined and elegant touch to the simple place setting.

For the centerpiece, I used a white ceramic urn and popped in some greenery.
Then I added a vintage rattan covered wine bottle and added some spring flowers into the top of it. I put a tiny bird on a little cupcake pedastol.
To round out the centerpiece, I added some vintage candlesticks to each end of the table.
I found some decorative wooden candles, not for burning-just atmosphere.
But I love the character that they add.
