What Do I Need to Create a Beautiful Valentines Table for Two?
It’s almost Valentine’s Day, which means it’s time to get ready for a romantic evening with your significant other!
Setting the mood and creating the perfect atmosphere starts with setting up your table just right.
I moved a small table near the fireplace in the living room. It is much more intimate than my large dining room table.
(Check out the Valentine’s Table that I decorated last year.).
Picture enjoying an intimate dinner beneath soft lighting, candles flickering and a fire in the fireplace?
Doesn’t it sound like the perfect date night?
Here’s how you can create a beautiful Valentines table for two in no time!
I started this tablescape by laying down a beautiful cream table runner
Then I used my white chargers, topped with my white dinner plates and white salad plates.
Then, I laid a beautiful cloth napkin across the salad plate and put a rosemary heart on the napkin with the sweetest little arrow. Isn’t it so cute?
I used the silverware that my husband and I got as a wedding present 37 years ago.
I also used vintage wine glasses and water goblets.
I got these for less than $3 a piece. The water glasses were $1.50 each.
Such a great deal.
You will need a White charger plates, White dinner plates, white salad plates, vintage books, linen table runner, angel, crystal vase, silver candlesticks, flameless candles, silver tray, silverware, white roses, English ivy, wine glasses, water glasses, linen napkins, rosemary hearts, cupids arrow.

For the centerpiece, I set a vintage silver tray that I got at an antique store in the center of the table.
I added the cutest vintage angel on a vintage book on the tray.
Add, you just can’t go wrong with beautiful flowers.
I added some fresh white roses and English ivy to a crystal vase and vintage silver sugar bowl along with some vintage “lovebird” salt and pepper shakers.
Aren’t they so cute?
Vintage and antique stores are a great place to get beautiful items that are so affordable.
I love anything vintage and the hunt is so much fun.
I also put some vintage silver candle holders with flameless tapers candles on the vintage tray for my centerpiece.
I love it.
To see how I made the rosemary hearts, I just shaped the wire into a heart for this table setting. I decided to use the rosemary hearts instead of napkin rings.

More great ideas for the perfect holiday table:
Use gold chargers and gold flatware for your place settings.
Fresh flowers are a great way to add the perfect touch to your special dinner. Use red roses, pink roses, pink ranunculus or any pretty flowers or floral arrangement for a floral centerpiece. Trader Joe always has a great selection grocery store flowers.
Use white plates with heart-shaped napkins for a beautiful tablescape. It would be even more special if you used red napkins or pink napkin folded into a heart for a touch of elegance that would rival any nice restaurant.
