How to Create a Beautiful Easter Tablescape

How to Create a Beautiful Easter Tablescape

Hey Friends! I’m so glad that you are here. Oh my goodness, don’t you love Springtime? It makes my heart absolutely giddy. We have had some pretty rainy and cold days, too cold to really feel like Spring yet. Too cold still to get outside and get those flowers planted. So, what does a girl do under these circumstances? She decorates!

Dragging out all of the bunnies and Springtime colors makes me feel like it is Spring, inside at least. Today, I am going to share with you How to Create a Beautiful Easter Tablescape. Come on! I’ll show you.

I have the pleasure of joining a great group of talented ladies in an Easter blog hop. My friend Cindy from Cloches and Lavender coordinated it. Thank you, Cindy. If you are coming over from Tammy at White Lilac Farmhouse, welcome! I am so glad that you are here.

I had so much fun putting this Easter tablescape together. I will share all of the details and a “how to” video to show you step by step how to create your Easter tablescape.

I love these ceramic bunnies. You can use whatever bunnies that you have, large or small, or even a combination of several.

I couldn’t find the exact bunnies that I used, but here are some options. White ceramic bunny Group of playful bunnies. Brown bunny.
I found this sweet little salt and pepper shaker set at an antique store a while back. It’s one of my favorites.

Get a similar cute bunny salt and pepper shaker here.

For the place setting, I started with a woven grass charger, then layered it with a pink charger. I then added my everyday white dinner plates and salad plates.

Watch the video for setting the table, start to finish.

I love the sweet twine ribbon on the napkins. This little bird in the garden pot adds a bit of whimsy.

I wrapped a twine/leaf ribbon around pink buffalo check napkins for a beautiful extra touch.

I draped a eucalyptus garland onto the table runner to create depth. Then I placed seven small fresh flower arrangements around the table.

I love adding lots of details, one of my favorite things is a silver urn with a topiary. I have added one to each side of the centerpiece.

My grandma collected salt and pepper shakers for years. I can remember being a little girl and looking at her collection. I seem to be following in her footsteps, everytime that I see a wonderful set of salt and pepper shakers, I think that I can’t live without them. I love this piece, it’s vintage and it makes my heart smile.

Beautiful tablescape. I love the details and collection of salt and pepper shakers. One of my favorite things growing up was to set the table On Sundays for special meals. It was never quite as eloquent as yours but I liked putting my moms China and glassware and silverware, and choices of table cloths on her nice dining room table. It was different than the every day eating at the kitchen table. The dining room had a special feeling. Thank you for sharing the video.

  2. This is really pretty for Spring. I’m about to finish up a Spring tablescape and you gave me some great ideas.

Beautiful interiors don’t have to come with an outrageous price tag. My style is what I like to call Vintage French Farmhouse, I love mixing decorating styles, especially opposites like the glitz of a chandelier dripping in crystals with a chair upholstered in worn aged leather. Refined, yet not too formal-but, livable, elegant traditional design, adding warmth and vintage elements.
