I had two goals for changing these curtains- I needed to make them longer and I wanted the make the tops of the curtains more interesting. I started by measuring from the floor to the ceiling to see how long I needed the curtain panels to be.
I bought two pairs of curtains. I cut off twelve inches off of the bottoms one pair of the curtains and 26″ off of the other pair of curtains.
If you’re looking for a way to add some personality to your home décor, consider customizing your store bought curtains. I sewed the 12″ piece to the top of the curtain panel, please see the YouTube video for full instructions on how I Customized the curtains. Then I sewed the 26″ piece to the bottom of the panel.

I love the tops of the curtains now. They are so cute. The curtains now go from floor to ceiling. I love them.
This curtains turned out perfectly. They are exactly the size that I needed them to be. They have great detail at the top and the bottoms of the curtain panels and they were very affordable.
