We do things much more simply at the lake.
We love the restful feeling that we have there.
When we decorate for holidays or for entertaining friends and family, we like to keep things simple.

I have the large planters and topiaries by the porch all year round.
But, for the Fourth of July, I love to add some large American flags all around the planters.
I added two white lanterns to the porch and surrounded them with red, white and blue flowers.
I enjoy seeing this festive look as I pass through to the porch.

I would love it if you would check out my Amazon Live for this Thursday, here.

Boy, looking at this pic now, I see that I didn’t even pick up the flag that I didn’t end up using or even turn around the flower pots.
I told you that I keep things simple.

I have this potting bench next to the front door.
I love to decorate it for the seasons.
For the Fourth of July, I simply add some small American flags to a wicker candle lantern.
No matter which decor you choose, your front porch will look amazing and really get everyone feeling a bit of extra punch when it comes to America’s birthday.
Now imagining all of these right in front of you on the 4th of July can provide hours of fun for the whole family!

Independence Day is right around the corner, let’s get ready for some magical memories – completely draped in red, white, and blue!

Don’t you just love the swag hanging over the front door?
It was so simple to do.
I hung a small cup hook in the top corners of the door frame.
Then, I used some red and white striped fabric and swagged it over the cup hooks.
I used zip ties to keep the fabric together and attach them to the cup hooks.
Next, I made a bow out of a blue and white ribbon and attached it to the cup hook.
I had the perfect blue ribbon with white stars on it, but I forgot it at the farm.
So I had to get new ribbon. It’s not my favorite, but it worked.
Decorating for the 4th of July does not have to be a difficult task!
You can choose from a variety of decorations and make a statement that captures the true spirit of Independence Day.
Have fun with your decorations, get creative and bring out the true stars and stripes in all red, white, and blue glory.
