Step 2: Scrape off all loose paint or debris.

Great prep makes all the difference in your finished project.

I loved the rustic chippy paint look to the pew and I knew that it was going in my chicken coop, so I didn’t get too crazy about a perfect finish.

You may decide that you, too, like the chippy finish of vintage furniture.

Step 3: Next, make sure that you get all of the paint scrapings, dust and any debris off of the furniture piece before you start painting.

You definitely don’t want to work so hard on your project up to this point and then have stuff stuck in your paint finish.

I like to get ‘super paint’-paint and primer in one.
