Hey Friends!
Welcome! I am so glad that you are here.
I always enjoy our time together.
Do you love Valentine’s Day? And Valentine DIY crafts? Me, too.
I don’t usually go all out for the Valentines Holiday, but this craft is just so cute, you are going to love it.
And it is so perfect for the centerpiece of your romantic Valentine’s table or decor around your home.
Today, I am going to show you How to Make a Beautiful Heart Shaped Moss Topiary.
Come on, I’ll show you.

Aren’t these the cutest little topiaries? They make my heart smile. I just love them.
I bought these super cute white vintage urns a while back at an antique store.
I love it when you find something and your heart starts to pitter pat and you know that you can’t go home without them.
That’s what happened when I saw these.
I have had them on the bookshelf, but they just didn’t quite fulfill their purpose in life yet-until now.
How to Make a Beautiful Heart Shaped Moss Topiary

The Supplies That You Need
Small urn or flower pot (these are so cute) floral foam, a dowel, a heart box, moss matt, scissors, Spanish moss, a hot glue gun and hot glue, ribbon, gold spray paint, gold craft paper, cutting board and sharp knife.
Let’s get started on this super fun and easy Valentine craft project.
Step 1: Spray paint the dowel, gold.

Step 2: Cut floral foam to fit snuggly into urn.

Step 3: Trace the heart box onto the moss matt.

Step 4: Cut out the heart out a half inch away from your drawn line.

Step 5: Clip to the line all the way around the heart.

Step 6: Hot glue the moss hearts to both sides of the heart box. Add a bead of glue around the side of the heart box and glue down the clipped edges of the heart.

Step 7: Using a drill and drill bit the same size as the dowel, drill a hole in the bottom of the heart.

Step 7: Measure and cut a strip of the moss matt for the sides of the heart. Start at the point of the heart and hot glue all the way around, leaving a bit unglued until the dowel is inserted.
Step 8: Glue the dowel in. Hold it in place until the glue sets.
