Step 1: In sauce pan mix together your milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt, egg and egg yolk.

Step 2: Heat on medium whisking almost continuously until bubbly and thick.

Step 3: Remove from heat and stir in your butter and vanilla until butter is melted.

Step 4: Cover with Saran Wrap pressing the wrap onto top of pudding to prevent film from forming and place in refrigerator and let cool to room temp.

Step 5: Once cooled, layer sliced bananas in a parfait glass, then pudding, whipped and wafers.

And repeat until the parfait glass is full.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 c milk or dairy free milk
  • 1 1/3 c Sugar
  • 6 T Cornstarch or Arrowroot Powder
  • 1/2 t Salt
  • 4 Eggs, (2  whole eggs and 2 egg yolks)
  • 4 T Butter
  • 4 t Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Bananas sliced
  • 1  container whipped topping, homemade or dairy free
  • 2 c vanilla wafers or gluten free wafers

Instructions
