Prepare Your Materials

Step 1: Gather all your materials and make sure your faux boxwood wreath base is clean and ready to be decorated.

If using real lemons, wash them thoroughly and allow them to dry completely.

I used faux lemons, so that it would last a long time.

My summery lemons came in small bundles.

Arrange Your Elements

Step 2: Start by arranging your roses, (because they are the largest elements)  making sure that you space them evenly around your wreath.

Then, move on to the lemons, eucalyptus, and greenery around the wreath base.

Experiment with different placements until you’re happy with the overall composition.

Secure Everything in Place

Step 3:  Once you’re satisfied with the arrangement, use floral wire or hot glue, to secure the elements to the wreath base.

I chose to use hot glue, but you can you floral wire.

Wrap the wire around the stems tightly, making sure everything is securely attached.

Trim any stems as needed using wire cutters.

Add the Bow

Step 4: Next, it’s time to add the finishing touch: the blue and white striped bow.

Cut a long length of ribbon, and one shorter piece of ribbon that you will be the other “tail” of the bow.

Hold the ribbon about 8′ in, then start laying the ribbon back and forth over itself like an accordion.

Now, hold the bow in the center and add the shorter piece of ribbon to the back side of the bow.

Now, squeeze the middle of the bow and wrap it with floral wire to create a bow.

Once the bow is complete, attach it to the wreath using more floral wire or hot glue.

Then, fluff the bow to look nice.

Hang Your Wreath

Step 5: Hang and Enjoy!

Once everything is securely in place, hang your beautiful spring lemon and yellow rose wreath on your front door or anywhere else that needs a pop of color and cheer.

If you are hanging it on your front door, use an over the door wreath hanger so that you don’t have to put a nail in your door.

Step back and admire your handiwork – you’ve just created a stunning piece of decor that will welcome guests with style all season long!

I love your gorgeous wreath, Renae. Lemons are one of my favorite things to use in wreaths, and it goes so well with the black and white ribbon.
