Here are the ingredients that you will need for this delicious recipe-Shrimp, walnuts, salt and pepper, sugar, eggs, cornstarch or arrowroot powder, olive oil, mayonnaise, honey, heavy cream or coconut cream, green onions.

Step 1: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water. Heat to a boil. Add walnuts and let boil for 2 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, remove walnuts and let cool.

It’s easy to make, too – give it a try!

Step 2: Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper. Place eggs in a shallow dish. Add cornstarch (for gluten free, use arrowroot powder)to another shallow dish-add salt and pepper. Dip shrimp in eggs, then into the cornstarch to coat well.

Step 3: In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil. When oil is hot, add shrimp in batches and fry on both sides until golden brown-3 to 4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel lined plate.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. 1 lb. Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 c Walnuts
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/4 1 1/4 c. Cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • Olive oil
  • 1 1/4 c Mayonnaise
  • 2 T Honey
  • 2 T Heavy cream or coconut cream
  • Green onions or Parsley for garnish

Instructions
