All of the table settings will start with this basic set of tableware.

Each month, I will add fun ideas to fit the theme of the month.

What I want to convey through this series, is that you can set beautiful tables all year long without breaking the bank.

You do not need 12 sets of dishware.

You do not need 12 sets of chargers or table linens.

You just need a few basics and a few tweaks each month to make your table settings fun and festive each month.

What Do I Need to Set a Beautiful Summertime Tablescape?

It’s summertime, and what better way to get in the spirit than by hosting a sweet summertime dinner party with a beautiful tablescape full of seasonal decor?

Whether your style is French Country chic or something more traditional, setting the perfect atmosphere for you and your guests will make any gathering feel extra special.

You will need: woven table runner, water hyacinth placemats, white chargers, white dinner plates, white salad plates, floral cloth napkins, wine glasses, water glasses, silverware, a demijon jar, blackberry stems, raspberry stems, candle holders, flameless candles, small urns, vintage books, small boxwood wreaths, bird, and faux ferns.

I love the combination of woven charger, decorative white charger, white dinner and salad plates with the yellow floral napkin.

It’s just for pretty.

I love using vintage and new items on a tablescape.

Here, I used vintage silver candleholders with new flameless taper candles.

Vintage urns stacked upon vintage books with new faux ferns in them.

I used a vintage demijohn vase with sweet boxwood wreaths that are new.

PRO TIP: Adding greenery, whether faux or real, adds life to any room.

Summertime means fresh berries in the garden.

I added faux blackberry and raspberry stems to add the sweetness of the summer garden.

And, of course, I just had to have the boxwood wreaths tied with buffalo check ribbon tied on the backs of my dining chairs.
