Lamb is one of my all time favorites.
This recipe is inspired from our trip.

You will need: flour tortillas or gluten free tortillas, ground lamb, lamb seasoning, garlic, onion, salt and pepper, sweet potatoes, feta cheese, olive oil, tzatiki sauce.
Step 2: In a frying pan, add the olive oil, lamb and seasonings. Cook the lamb until it crumbles.

How to Make Lamb and Sweet Potato Hand Pies

Step 4: In the same pan, cook the sweet potatoes and season them with salt and pepper.
Step 5: When the potatoes are tender, add the lamb back into the pan.

Step 7: Sprinkle with feta cheese.

When golden brown, turn it over and cook the other side.
Step 10: Enjoy! It’s delicious topped with tzatiki sauce

Lamb and Sweet Potato Hand Pies
Ingredients
- 8 flour tortillas or gluten free tortillas
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 1 T lamb seasoning
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1 T onion
- dash salt and pepper
- 1 large sweet potato, peeled and diced
- 1/2 c feta cheese
- olive oil
- tzatiki sauce
Instructions
- In a frying pan, add the olive oil, lamb and seasonings. Cook the lamb, on medium high heat, until it crumbles. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Peel and dice the sweet potatoes.In the same pan, cook the sweet potatoes and season them with salt and pepper.
- When the potatoes are tender, add the lamb back into the pan.
- Enjoy! It's delicious topped with tzatiki sauce
