Outdoor Dining Pavillion

Welcome Friends!

I am so thrilled that spring is here. The birds are singing. The sun is shining. The flowers are blooming. I am so excited to share our dining pavillion with you today. It’s one of my favorite areas of our farm.

Hydrangeas, roses and wisteria, oh my!

When we purchased our farm, there was a concrete pad that was about eight feet by six feet in the side yard. I have no idea why it was there or what the old homeowners used it for. I kept thinking about what we could do with it, when I can up with the idea of building a dining pavillion. The pavillion is 20’x 12′.

I love how the pavillion looks. It’s so inviting and a wonderful place to share a meal with friends and family.

I added the swings to one end of the pavillion. It’s a favorite spot to sit and look out over the garden.

An outbuilding on the farm is never complete without a cupola and a weather vane.

This table was made from a cedar tree that we had to take down on the farm. It took eight men to carry it and put it into place. This lovely table sits 16-20 people comfortably.
The white draperies, twinkle lights and chandeliers make the pavillion elegant and cozy.

I hope that you enjoyed seeing th dining pavillion. Please folow us on https://www.facebook.com/peacockridgefarm/, Instagram @peacockridge, on YouTube and Pinterest.

Blessings to you,

Renae

Gorgeous! How long did it take for your wisteria to get that tall and thick?

Hi Renae! I know I answered your comment over on WP, but thought I’d say how much I enjoyed seeing your dining pavillion!! Your yard and home are fabulous!!! We had hoped to buy another property which has a 1/2 acre back garden and would have given me the views like this but it wasn’t meant to be. I do miss wide open spaces, something we had at the campgrounds we lived at over four years!

Thank you again for sharing at Share Your Style and I was happy to feature your post at SYS #298 this week, as you know. <3

    Spring hugs to you,
    Barb 🙂

Beautiful interiors don’t have to come with an outrageous price tag. My style is what I like to call Vintage French Farmhouse, I love mixing decorating styles, especially opposites like the glitz of a chandelier dripping in crystals with a chair upholstered in worn aged leather. Refined, yet not too formal-but, livable, elegant traditional design, adding warmth and vintage elements.
