What is the Most Refreshing Summer Drink?
I have four amazing summer drinks that I am sharing with you. Strawberry Mule, Pear Rosemary Lemonade, Lavender Iced Tea and Strawberry Basil Lemonade. They are so easy and delicious.
I have my all time favorite, after you try these recipes, I hope that you will let me know which one is your favorite.
How do you make a refreshing summer drink?
This drink is really so easy. It’s sweet, cold and oh so delicious. It’s the perfect drink to serve to guests, because you can have the ingredients in your pantry and make them up in just a few minutes.
This is Lavender Iced Tea. It is delicious. I am hosting an 80th birthday party for my mother-in-law and her twin sister this summer. They are Italian, so I am going to go with an Italian theme.
I am serving all of the Italian favorites-antipasto, fresh ravioli, lasagna, tiramisu and so many more delicious items. This Lavender Iced Tea is going to be perfect for the party.
This recipe has such a delightful lavender flavor that you are sure to love.
I put ice in the glass, then I added a 1/4 cup of Lavender syrup and 1 1/2 cups of brewed Lipton Tea. I brewed the tea and let it cool. You can make your own lavender syrup-equal parts water and sugar and some lavender blooms. Let it come to a boil.
That’s it. It is so simple. By the way, this glass is shatter proof. It is perfect outdoor entertaining. You can get it here.
Lavender Iced Tea
- 1/4 c Lavender syrup
- 1 1/2 c Brewed Lipton Tea, cooled
- Add all ingredients to a glass.
- If making Lavender syrup, add equal parts water and sugar and some lavender blooms. Let it come to a boil. Cool.
How do I make a Strawberry Mule?
Do you love the classic Moscow Mule? Or do you love a fruity drink? I have you covered either way that you like them. This recipe is twist on the classic Mule. This non-alcoholic Strawberry Mule is fruity, but not too sweet.
The sweet, ripe strawberries and the tart from the lime and ginger beer is a great combination. The Ginger Beer adds the perfect amount of acidity. If you want to make it a cocktail-just add vodka.
In this shatterproof stemless glass, I added ice, pureed fresh strawberries, a squeeze of lime, 1 cup of Ginger Beer and 1 cup of Club Soda. It’s the perfect drink for summer. It is so good.
- 3 Strawberries, puree
- squeeze Lime
- 1 c Ginger Beer
- 1 c Club Soda
- Puree strawberries in food processor
- Add all ingredients to glass.
What is the perfect way to dress up Lemonade?
This next drink is amazing with a capital “A”. It is such a classy way to dress up your lemonade. This would be great for a bridal shower, baby shower or wedding. The combination is so interesting.
This Pear Rosemary Lemonade is sure to please. Can you picture yourself at a beautiful beach resort, drinking one of these? A girl can dream, right? Doesn’t it sound amazing?
In a tall glass, add ice. Then using a mortar and pestle, muddle the rosemary leaves and add it to the glass. By muddling the rosemary it releases the oils, so that you get all that great rosemary flavor.
Add a ripe pear to the food processor and puree. A ripe pear will be the most flavorful. Add 1 1/2 cups Lemonade and 1/2 cup of club soda. Garnish it with a sprig of rosemary. Cheers!
Isn’t this glass so pretty? It is one of my favorites. You can get it here.
