There is just something so wonderful about eating fresh food in the summer, it’s fresher, it’s simplicity at it’s finest. And it tastes oh, so, good. This summer salad is so easy, it’s elegant and it’s a crowd pleaser.

This salad has all of my favorites: salad greens, peptitas, blueberries, strawberries, avocado and so much more. It’s even more fun when I can go out to the garden and pick it just in time to make a great salad for lunch or dinner.

- Blend 1/2 c. olive oil with 1/2 c. balsamic vinegar. Mix well.
- Top salad with dressing.
- Enjoy!

Strawberries just taste better in an adorable compote dish. I found some super cute compote dishes here, here and here.

The flavors of the pear balsamic vinegar and the lemon olive oil is amazing together. You truly won’t go back to store bought salad dressings after tasting this. I couldn’t find the exact brand that I use, but get a Meyer Lemon Olive oil here. and D’Anjou Pear Balsamic Vinegar here.
