There is just something so wonderful about eating fresh food in the summer, it’s fresher, it’s simplicity at it’s finest. And it tastes oh, so, good. This summer salad is so easy, it’s elegant and it’s a crowd pleaser.

These are the ingredients for the Best Summer Salad, ever!

This salad has all of my favorites: salad greens, peptitas, blueberries, strawberries, avocado and so much more. It’s even more fun when I can go out to the garden and pick it just in time to make a great salad for lunch or dinner.

Fresh strawberries from my garden in one of my favorite vintage compotes.

Strawberries just taste better in an adorable compote dish. I found some super cute compote dishes here, here and here.

Fresh blueberries from my garden. Get Rae Dunn berry crate here.
The combination of Meyer Lemon Olive Oil and D’Anjou Pear Balsamic Vinegar is unbelievably good! This salad bowl is very similar to mine.

The flavors of the pear balsamic vinegar and the lemon olive oil is amazing together. You truly won’t go back to store bought salad dressings after tasting this. I couldn’t find the exact brand that I use, but get a Meyer Lemon Olive oil here. and D’Anjou Pear Balsamic Vinegar here.

Beautiful interiors don’t have to come with an outrageous price tag. My style is what I like to call Vintage French Farmhouse, I love mixing decorating styles, especially opposites like the glitz of a chandelier dripping in crystals with a chair upholstered in worn aged leather. Refined, yet not too formal-but, livable, elegant traditional design, adding warmth and vintage elements.
