How to Easily Reupholster a Headboard in One Afternoon

I started by taping some craft paper to the wall behind the headboard and drew an outline of the headboard.

I took two lengths of fabric, matched the pattern and sewed them together and pressed the seam.

I cut one of the main fabric and one from the lining.

I sewed the front piece to the strip, clipped my seam so that the fabric would lay smoothly around the curved edge of the headboard.
